Here at Flowers in the Water, we implement a very simple stat system in order to ensure that all battles are fought fairly, no cat has an unfair advantage, and that no one is able to god-mode. Stats are visible in the mini-profiles of each cat, and can also be viewed on their biography to those that are inclined to look.POWER: This is your strength skill. It's the powerhouse of your entire set; the more power you have, the harder you can hit and the harder it is to be knocked down. Cats that prefer an offensive approach to a defensive approach would do well with stacking this skill. It also determines the amount of your own body weight (or the body weight of others) that you can pull around - for instance, a cat with low power might not be able to climb a steep hill or a tree as well as a cat with high power.
DEFENSE: Defense allows you to become bulkier and harder to damage. It's fairly straight forward. The more defense you have, the longer you can fight for without dying or needing to run for your life. If you want your cat to become a tank (one who kites enemies so that a high attacker can take them out), this is the stat you'll want to stack. Also, the more defense you have, the more equipped you will be to withstand the attack of an outside predator such as a badger.
STAMINA: To be able to cross long distances in a shorter amount of time, or without needing to rest as much, stamina is key! More stamina means many things - the ability to fight longer as your energy decreases slower, the ability travel longer distances without breaking much of a pant, even the ability to get places faster with a burst of speed at your command. A faster, more endurable cat is good for many things; carrying messages, running to get help, and more.
WISDOM: Basically how smart your cat is, or how much they've learned throughout the years that they've been alive. Wisdom gives cats the ability to be more responsive to their surroundings, and the ability to be more logical during times of both war and of peace, and yet more strategic as well. Wise cats have experienced many things that most cats wouldn't have even dreamed about, and can confidently share their knowledge with the younger generation. A cat with low wisdom wouldn't know right from wrong as well as a cat with high wisdom.
