The greenleaf sun beat down from the clear sky upon the lake water, Morningdew lay upon her side and watched the birds dipping from the sky into the water and back up again. Her long ginger tail thumped in an absent-minded manner on the sandy lake shore. It was such a beautiful greenleaf day and with no apprentice to train and the dawn patrol over, she had excused herself to some private me time away from any Thunderclan cats. What a lovely evening with Rowanstar she had had but what now? Her family was pretty much in shambles so, who would she have to ask for a blessing or an acknowledgement? Rowanstar on the other hand, had a sister who Morningdew was very much on pleasant terms with; however, Morningdew was much much younger than the siblings. What would her friend say if she told her that she was falling in love with her brother?
Morningdew watched the lake. She had never been very close to it before and since the drowning of the Riverclan kits all of the clans were vary wary of the deep water. Accusations were flying lately and in the most recent moons a raid had been executed on the Thunderclan camp by Riverclan. Blood would spill. This lake would run red. Wouldn't it be funny if there was actually some sort of monster in the lake? What if everyone was innocent-ish? Morningdew's head rolled between her shoulders as she stretched out in the sand, the warm sun heating the skin beneath her fiery fur. She felt sleepy, perhaps a nap would be relatively inappropriate but she couldn't help but appeal to her less logical nature to take naps wherever she darn well pleased like right now.
