MARBLE -- CLANLESS (wip)

Named by his mother, due to the marble-like patterns in his fur.

Since birth, Marble has been small. Not in the way of being short-legged and stoutly-bodied, but rather proportionately small enough to be trampled over and out-muscled by the sheer girth of his more robust siblings. Though not taking to being called a runt kindheartedly, the term wouldn't be unjust. And as he grew, he still did not gain strength or heaviness, but rather nimbleness and speed. Marble's small body shot out four long legs (for his size) and retained its lithe narrowness. This trait allowed him to always outrun his competition, and while still easily overpowered, he is rarely outsped. His body seemed to adapt to his abilities as he grew older: his ears were sharp, and pointed. His claws grew sharp, granting him excellent traction. Long and mobile, his tail acted as a rudder, allowing for sharp turns in wild games of chase. With what grew, however, there were things that, well, did not. His paws, for example, stayed small and nonthreatening. Likewise were his fangs, and nose, and belly and pretty much everything else that was left on his naturally small frame.

Though he is still very young himself, Marble is even younger at heart. Playful, soft, and utterly naive, Marble sees the world through rose-colored glasses; the world is a giant plaything that he pokes and prods until he gets something unpleasant.

Born indoors, he was exposed to many cats and many people from the moment he was born.
