MOTHER OF PESTS [riverclan]

Pebblefur is known throughout the clan as the mother of Flywhisker, Ratmask & Tickstorm, though she would rather it not be known they were hers. She was always an adventurous young she cat an during her apprenticeship was known to wander the territory (and perhaps outside of Riverclans borders) in search of excitement. Not just adveterous, she was also pretty. Pebblefur was known throughout the clan for her beauty and vanity, and she often went out of her way to tease the young toms of riverclan. But because she was shallow and vain, she during her younger years didn't have too many friends. It was outside the clan that she sought solace, in the arms of a loner tom. She fell quickly for the tom and hoped that some day he may join the clan, but before she could suggest the matter, the tom left. It was alongside discovering that she had been used that she discovered her belly full of kits. When her hatred grew for the tom, so too did her hatred for the kits growing inside her.

Moons later, three kits were born. Because she was under the watchful eyes of several other Queens, there was no way she could do away with the litter secretly and so, bitter, she named the litter after pests of the forest. Ratkit, Flykit & Tickkit didn't have the easiest kithood near their mother, but it was the other queens that comforted the three. Pebblefur did as little as possible with the trio and as soon as they were able to become apprentices, she left the den.

Since then, Pebblefur ignores the three and when forced to interact with them is sharp tongued and bitter. They remind her of the tom she'd been left behind by, Ratmask and Tickstorm with his long fur, and Flywhisker with his pattern. Her hate for them remains the same to this day.
