SHRIKE » a type of bird renown for it's grey and white pelt - often seen perching on the horseplace fences.
KIT » traditionally given to a cat at birth and until they reach apprentice age at six moons. however, in shrikes case it was used far longer.
PAW » traditionally given to a cat at their apprentice ceremony, used typically between the ages of 6 - 12 moons. in shrike's case he used it for far longer.
CLAW » while the renown definition for claw is a cat who shows great promises in battle - or has shown themselves worthy of the fighting aspect, are given such a suffix. however, for our tom; it not only goes along well with his courageous and bravery.
